White Dwarf is about the making of the first atomic bomb, under physicist Robert J. Oppenheimer’s guidance. The audience is invited to become part of the experiment and to be confronted with the question of morality and the limitations of science. It is a question which is currently in many people’s minds. How would the atomic bomb be if it had the fate of a white dwarf star? If, instead of wreaking havoc, it had remained locked in a room until it would become an exhibit in a museum of the future?
