Creation Between Two Surfaces

The second film by photographer and filmmaker Hossein Rajabian is an adrenaline rush which boldly seeks wisdom in madness. Rajabian signals to Ingmar Bergman from afar (in particular, his Persona) whilst, inspired by the master, he gradually transforms film reality into a psychiatric nightmare. The hero assumes the role of an animal, nevertheless, he still possesses the intuition that allows him to turn his isolation into a spiritual advantage. How can we free our hearts and minds from the errors of our predecessors? The answer lies in a woman, in her love, her pride and her vision. (Karlovy Vary International Film Festival)
