The plot takes its place in the years 1941-1943. The film tells the story of those Polish people, who in this severe time, found themselves far away from their native land – in different corners of Soviet Union. Many of those people, having decided to fight against fascism, have participated in the clash under Lenino, where the First Polish division of Kostushko had its first trial by fire.
