Anita Thacher's Loose Corner is clearly inspired by the magical universes of Lewis Carroll, where nothing is what it seems and shapes are perpetually changing. Using clever superimpositions, changes in shot scale, magnification and reduction of proportions, optical effects, and deft editing, a simple corner turns into a generative space, alive and in constant transformation, with plenty of surprises for our senses.
