Tahir (15) and Amine (8) wake up one morning to find that their father has gone. In cahoots, they decide to go and look for him in the city, wandering around in a daze. Deeply shocked by his sudden disappearance, the two brothers start playing hooky and hanging out at the movies. One day, while watching a film, they think they recognize their father on screen. They then steal the film print, trying to find his face on the reels, but are arrested before they get very far. Their mother, worn out by their bad behavior, sends them far away to study in a Koranic school. (MK2)
