Marlene is a single mother. She works only occasionally and is looking for a way to escape the monotony of everyday life. When she meets two headstrong revolutionaries, Lola and Sonne, she discovers what it would be like to live again without children and commitments. In fact, she finds herself in a spiral of events where she may lose everything she ever had. What is the price of freedom she so desperately desires? The answer lies in Marlene's childhood memories and repressed trauma that begins to surface.
