In part one, Pál Bogár entrusted his younger sister Zsuzsa with the jewels originating from burgleries, and entreated her to keep them hidden for years to come, because they would bring big trouble to them. At the end of the film, Bogár, heavily wounded, drowned in a swamp while fleeing. After ten years he returns, because his family is in big trouble. Béla hasn't been able to protect his folks, Zsuzsi has become an alcoholic, the children have been placed under state care. Spitz, the boss of the local maffia, has not only ruined them both financially and as human beings, but does away with everybody crossing his way. He is ruthless also in getting the plots around his pub. Bogár takes revenge on his brother-in-law, recuperates the remaining wealth, finishes off Spitz and his gang, and finally returns into the river. (Budapest Film)
