Áramütés

This double-threaded story depicts the lives of a sister and a brother in a critical phase of their lives. Virág participates in a tour of the collage choir to Finland. Upon her return home she refuses the assistance offered by Vince, leaves the collage and aborts her child by a young Finn. She tries to move to Budapest, but her mother, suffering from the onslaughts of depression, is unable to help her. She often finds herself in conflict at her frequently changing places of employment, and eventually the police turn her back to her home-village from the border. Vince is the manager of the turkey farm in the village. Their quarrel escalates into a fight, and the man is suddenly struck by an electric shock. Virág attempts to bring him back to life by mouth-to mouth, artificial respiration. (texte officiel du distributeur)
