How I Learned to Fly

The 12-year-old Sofija (Klara Hrvanović) fantasizes about camping with her gang and her first kiss. But she is forced to spend the summer in the run-down family house on the island Hvar, with her somewhat annoying grandmother Marija (Olga Odanović) and her dotty great-aunt Luce (Snježana Sinovčić). Without her friends, mobile signal and internet, Sofija’s life on Hvar is “a total hell”, but the monotony is soon broken by unusual behavior of grandma Marija. Sofia gathers that her grandma has some kind of a secret romance, but her big investigation into her grandma’s love-life results unexpectedly in the discovery of a long-kept family secret.
