Luisa Mayol

Biographie

She is a Chilean actress who studied at the Fernando González Mardones Acting Academy in Santiago de Chile. She has also studied with professors such as Walter Rippel and Juan Carlos Corazza. Luisa began her career in Chile in television shows, with her first job, Magi-k for Mega. Later she had new television projects such as Huaiquimán y Tolosa, Nadie me entiende and Los 80 for Canal 13, Esperanza and No abras la puerta for TVN, as well as Infieles for Chilevisión. In Chile, she also worked with directors such as Nicolás López, in films such as Qué pena tu vida and Santos. In 2015, she moved to Spain to begin her career in this country. Her first job was in the series Gym Tony on Cuatro, which she joined in its third season. Shortly afterwards, she participated in the films El cuaderno de Sara, by Norberto López Amado and Quien a hierro mata by Paco Plaza. In 2020, she filmed the series Relatos-con-fin-a-dos for Prime Video and in 2021 she won the Best Actress Award for the short film Nuestros hijos, by Cecilia Gessa, at the Mostra de Noia. Her more recent works are the film Alegría by Violeta Salama and the Netflix series Hasta el cielo, the adaptation of the homonymous film directed by Daniel Calparsoro. In 2023 she released Fatum by Juan Galiñanes, where she played Lidia, one of the main characters.
