Graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d'AudioVisuel (ESAV), Julien Fournet has been part of the team of creators and animators at TAT Productions, where, among other tasks, he created the short film Presque des hommes (2006) and the medium-length film La panda de la selva 2 (2014) and, after taking over the popular animated characters, he was in charge of directing and writing many of the episodes of the television series La panda de la selva... ¡al rescate! (2016-2020), for which he won an Emmy. Pil (2021) is his first feature film, a medieval adventure film with a groundbreaking protagonist.
