Her work has focused on topics such as aging, gender issues and identity, often from her experience as a queer person and her relationship with the environment. Her work is a claim to therapy and demands, and is oriented towards the conquest of rights for social minorities and their situation in the United States. In 2017, she met in Mexico with producers, journalists, and intellectuals to promote reflection on the role of women, addressing issues such as feminicide, rape, the culture of patriarchy or machismo. Her objective is to produce a film that gives visibility to these serious events in order to reach all societies through the particular example of Mexican society and culture.
