Sophie Laloy took a chance at applying for the competitive entrance exam to FEMIS. When she completed her studies, she worked as a boom operator and sound engineer on TV movies, feature Films and documentaries. At the same time, she she wrote her first short film D’amour et d’eau fraîche. From this, a real passion for directing actors was born and she wanted to follow this path. She started writing her first feature film and two producers later she was introduced to Louis Becker while shooting Josiane Balasko’s The Ex Love of My Life where she acted as boom operator. Thanks to this meeting You Will Be Mine finally saw the light of day.
