Vincent Dietschy

He studied at the IDHEC (France’s state film school, renamed La Fémis) in Paris, where producer Klaus Hellwig proposed that they make a film together, but unfortunately died before the production was finished. Later, Dietschy started the production company Sérénades Productions with Bénédicte Mellac and other former students of the IDHEC (like Bardinet Thomas, Laurent Cantet and Dominik Moll). Together they produced 10 medium-length films and three features, including his Julie est amoureuse (1998). Seven years later, Dietschy made his second feature Didine (2008).
