Biographie
Madiano Marcheti has been writing and directing short films since college. In 2013, he directed Vácuo and Travessias, which were shown at the Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival Kinoforum. This was followed in 2014, by O Lugar Mais Frio do Rio, which was honoured at the VII Festival Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife and featured in Cinélatino, 27èmes Rencontres de Toulouse. In 2016, he directed Essa Barra Que é Gostar de Você, the opening short in the Festival Mimo de Cinema e Música. Madalena is his first feature-length fiction film.
