Biographie
JOKO ANWAR was born in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia. He studied aerospace engineering at the Institut- Teknologi Bandung before pursuing screenwriting and directing. He made his feature directorial debut with Janji Joni (Joni's Promise) (05), followed by The Forbidden Door (09), Ritual (12), and A Copy of My Mind (15).
