Biographie
Ali studied at the DBMS English School and the Hindu College in Delhi. He began his career directing television programs including Purushetra for Zee TV and Imthihaan for Star Plus. He then moved on to Bollywood, and directed the critically-acclaimed Socha Na Tha (2005), which helped to establish him as one of the best romantic comedy film directors.
