Biographie
Born in Afghanistan, he moved to the Netherlands at early age He had his BA at Rietveld Art Academy in Amsterdam and did his MA in Directing and Aesthetic Language of Cinema at London Film School. The cultural origin of Aboozar plays a central role in his work. KabulTehranKabul (2010) won the prestigious Wildcard prize from the Dutch Film Fund.
