Cecilia Montagut has a degree in Psychology (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and has studied filmmaking at the Centro Experimental de Avellaneda (Buenos Aires). She began her career in Argentina in film and advertising directing teams. She moved to Spain in 1991. Cecilia Montagut dedicates herself, among other things, to making documentaries that denounce gender discrimination. Cecilia Montagut has been part of the EmPoderArte association (formerly Generando Arte) since its inception.
