Biographie
Shira Geffen (b. 1971, Tel Aviv) is one of Israel's most distinctive contemporary artists. She has earned respect with her children's books, stage plays, her direction for the theatre and also for her acting endeavours. Together with her husband Etgar Keret she wrote the script for the short film Three Towers (2006). She then teamed up with Keret once again to co-author and co-direct their feature debut Jellyfish (Meduzot), which was premiered in Cannes' Critics' Week in 2007 and won the prestigious Caméra d'Or.
