Olya Schechter

A New York-based filmmaker, Olga Schechter, studied politics at New York University and filmmaking at New York Film Academy. Closely following the relationship between Russia and the United States she became fascinated with the Ukrainian crisis. As a result, she spent the last three years working on her first feature documentary on the front lines in Eastern Ukraine.
