Machiel Amorison has been making films since his teens. He has broad experience as a producer of television, documentaries, and news. Machiel has a degree in marketing from the Charted Institute of Marketing, UK and a degree in film production. He speaks fluent English, German, and of course Dutch. He founded BDS Media Projects and recently has specialized in dance and performance films. Over the years he produced many commercial and promotional programs including two seasons for Dutch TV of Parents Today (“Ouders Van Nu”) which advised parents about raising young children. In conjunction with the Dutch WE magazine, Machiel produced and distributed several popular parenting videos. A major milestone was an internationally distributed documentary about Frans Hals, the renowned Dutch painter, produced in conjunction with the Frans Hals museum.
