Bell Zhong has worked as assistant director on the films Diqiu zuihou de yewan (Long Day's Journey into Night, Bi Gan; 2018), presented in Un Certain Regard at Cannes and Nan fang che zhan de ju hui (The Wild Goose Lake, Diao Yi’nan; 2019), which competed in the official selection of the French competition. Both were also screened in Zabaltegi-Tabakalera at San Sebastian. He has also directed the short films Suitcase (2014), Fisherman (2015) and Blooming Night (2016), which was selected for more than thirty festivals worldwide.
