Lilian Rosado González

Biographie

Lilian studied theatre and drama at the Instituto Superior de Arte in La Habana, scriptwriting at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños, film and television directing at the Escuela Internacional de Cine, Radio y Televisión in Cuba, and television series production in FPAE in Barcelona and Madrid. She has worked as a scriptwriter and director for numerous television, film and video clip productions, such as the fiction feature films Siete días en La Habana (1997), Cuentos de la guerra Saharaui (2004), Agua con sal (2006), La mala (2008) or the documentaries Un techo (1994), Las cenizas del volcán (2000) and Vendedora de sueños (2008). These films have received recognition at different festivals at a national and international level. She has also worked extensively as a teacher in Spain and Cuba in relation to the production of short films and scriptwriting for film and television.
