Paul D. Miller (1970, USA) developed – under the alias DJ SPOOKY – an impressive career as multimedia artist, composer, editor and author. With Rebirth of a Nation (2004), he also debuted as a director, combining his musical experience and critical views on society in a film. He has composed music for awarded films and world-famous artists like Thurston Moore and Yoko Ono, and exhibited at biennials and in museums. From 2012 until 2013, DJ Spooky was the first artist-in-residence at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
