Tarell Alvin McCraney

Tarell Alvin McCraney s'est surtout fait connaître pour sa trilogie théâtrale « Brother/Sister », comprenant « The Brothers Size », « In the Red and Brown Water » et « Marcus or the Secret of Sweet ». Il a obtenu une bourse Genius, le Whiting Award, le Steinberg Playwright Award, l'Evening Standard Award, le New York Times Outstanding Playwright Award et le Windham Campbell Award. Il a été écrivain en résidence auprès de la Royal Shakespeare Company pendant deux ans et ancien résident dramaturge aux New Dramatists. Il est membre de la Steppenwolf Company. Diplômé de la New World School of the Arts, de la Theatre School at DePaul University et de la Yale School of Drama, il a été professeur de théâtre à la University of Miami.
