Born in Rome, Valerio Esposito worked as an actor before he realized that he prefers to work behind the camera. After participating in various movie projects in Italy and in Los Angeles since 2008, he decided to stay in the United States to study film and TV production at the University of Southern California. Having produced independent commercials and music videos initially, he celebrated his directing debut with his feature film "Calico Skies" in 2015. Plans for another feature film, which will be shot in New York in 2017, already exist.
