American animator. Born in 1974, he came to the field of stop-motion animation as a mechanical engineer. A versatile engineer and precision machinist, he has designed and built stop-motion armature skeletons for Laika, directors Henry Selick and Wes Anderson, and most recently for Phil Tippett, recreating the iconic Holochess set for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".
