Katie Micay graduated from LMU's film program. Her first short film, For Love, which she made at 14, is nearing 4,000 hits on YouTube. After that, Limited Engagement played at Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival and Women's Independent Film Festival. Next, My So Called Family screened at Bel Air Film Festival and Flirt played at Reality Bytes Film Festival. Katie is excited to bring The Firefly Girls to Mill Valley Film Festival. It has played at Equinox Women's Film Festival, Hollywood North Film Festival and Sonoma International Film Festival. Katie and co-writer Kyle Bown are developing a feature version.
