Biographie
Yana Martsynkevych, born 1988 in Ukraine, is a young director based in Sweden.
She studied filmmaking at Kulturama (Stockholm) and proceeded to working with narrative short films and commercial projects after graduating, as an employee at DDB House in Stockholm. She is currently studying film directing at STDH.
Yana has won a number of awards in Sweden and was shortlisted for Young Director Award at Cannes, 2015.
In her films, she has been exploring subjects of migration, identity, feminism and love.
