Biographie
Amirah Tajdin is a Kenyan artist and filmmaker. She studied photography at Rhodes University in South Africa, and she has written and directed two short films: Fluorescent Sin (2011) and His To Keep (2013). Both have played at over 20 film festivals, with Fluorescent Sin garnering two jury special mention awards. Tajdin currently travels between Africa and the Middle East writing her first feature, Hawa Hawaii, set in Mombasa, Kenya.
