Biographie
With her extraordinarily deep and varied background in managing and marketing cultural and film ventures on both sides of the Atlantic, Eleonora Granata brings a global network of artistic and business alliances in her capacity as an acquisition, film festival programmer, PR and international marketing executive. A Milan native and resident of Los Angeles, Eleonora served for seven years as the U.S. representative and program advisor for La Biennale di Venezia. She was also the senior programmer of world dramatic features for the Miami International Film Festival, as well as the U.S. representative for the Locarno International Film Festival. Eleonora also worked as vice president and head of the acquisitions and co-productions division at Turner Pictures. She began her career with RCS Films and Television in Italy, a division of the RCS Publishing group that she was instrumental in creating, where she held various acquisitions, distribution and marketing positions and eventually oversaw the company's worldwide acquisitions and production from Los Angeles. As a leading international film industry expert, Eleonora served as acquisition consultant for United Artists, and oversees a number of film and corporate projects through her Los Angeles-based company, EGJ&A (Eleonora Granata Jenkinson & Associates). Founded in 2007, the firm integrates marketing, management, film co-production and acquisition, PR and film festival consulting for its clients. Among them are Screen Australia, Tribeca Enterprises, the Italian Film Commission of Los Angeles as well as independent producers and talent on both sides of the Atlantic. Eleonora is currently producing the feature film "ISADORA" directed by Floria Sigismondi and the sci-fi adventure feature "REPUBLIC" directed by Yuan Chien-Wei. Eleonora is the head of the Russian Film Commission in the USA.
