Biographie
Born in Tokyo, she is a journalist and filmmaker. Beginning her career with Mainichi Broadcasting, she relocated to Okinawa to work as news anchor with Ryukyu Asahi Broadcasting in 1995. She is a lecturer at Okinawa International University. Her films include the award-winning The Targeted Village (2012).
