Adam McKay

Adam McKay is a filmmaker and producer who has written and directed the comedy features ANCHORMAN, TALLADEGA NIGHTS, STEP BROTHERS, THE OTHER GUYS, and ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES.

Through Gary Sanchez Productions, which he founded with Will Ferrell, McKay produced TAMMY, THE CAMPAIGN, HANSEL AND GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS, and Leslye Hedland's first feature BACHELORETTE.

His producing projects include WELCOME TO ME, GET HARD, DADDY'S HOME and HANSEL AND GRETEL 2.

McKay is a co-founder of the comedy website Funny or Die. He started writing and performing at Second City Theater in Chicago and was a co-founder of the Upright Citizen's Brigade before going on to become head writer at "Saturday Night Live." He is also a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post.
