Biographie

Nicholas Coles is an Australian born writer and producer who currently lives in Los Angeles. His professional career began in New York City where he worked closely with producers Allen Bain, Jesse Scolaro of The 7th Floor productions and Darren Goldberg of Atlantic Pictures. For five years he was a writer and producer for MTV Networks.

He has written and produced content for Spike TV, iFilm, and Disney. In 2010 he wrote and produced the cult-hit webseries The Adventures of Barry Baz. He produced content for ABC Australia (Chaser's War on Everything, Lawrence Leung Seasons 1 & 2, Review with Myles Barlow) and branded content for the likes of Quiznos, and American Licorice.

In 2014 he wrote and produced the short film The Charlatan which played at numerous film festivals including in Aspen, Palm Springs and Woodstock. He was producing a feature length documentary on Los Angeles' famed Magic Castle. Nicholas has written a narrative feature based on the serial killer Dorothea Puente which was produced by Michael Roiff (Waitress, Save the Date) of Night and Day Productions.
