Biographie

Jordanian filmmaker and screenwriter. Born in 1969 in Zarga, he studied film and art at Yarmouk University in Irbid. He left the country in 1988 and continued to work in the television and film industries in Romania, Italy, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands, where he lives. He has made a number of short documentaries. In 2007 he directed his first full-length documentary, "Recycle", which won an award at the Sundance festival and was screened at over 70 other festivals. "Blessed Benefit", his first feature film, premiered at the Toronto festival in 2016.
