Peter Monsaert

Peter Monsaert (Ghent, 1975) studied Language and Literature at Ghent University, holds a Master of Audiovisual Arts from the Ghent Royal Academy (KASK), and has developed an artistic career in various disciplines. With the medium-length film De Onvrijwillige Poëet (2001) he explored the crossover area between film and performance, a line of action that would characterise his professional career. His rich and multifaceted artistic background constituted a solid basis for his first feature film, Offline (2012), selected and awarded prizes at various international festivals. Le ciel flamand is his second feature film.
