Swedish screenwriter and film director. Born in Bosnia in 1980 where his grandfather worked as a projectionist at the local cinema. A graduate in screenwriting from the Broby Grafiska college of cross media. Over the course of over 15 years he has made numerous short films. In 2014 he made his directorial feature debut with How to Stop a Wedding. The film was selected for the 1-2 Competition at the 30th Warsaw Film Festival, where it won the main award. A Balkan Noir (2017) is his second feature film.
