Jaana Wahlforss (1957) is a Finnish animator and director. She studied political science at university in Helsinki then worked as a research assistant. After starting at the production company Epidemie she began working on film productions. She collaborated on the animated TV series The Sun is a Yellow Giraffe (Aurinko on Keltainen kirahvi, 1999) and The Yellow Giraffe (Keltainen kirahvi, 2005). Independently, she shot the short animated film The Winter Ghost (Talviaave, 2012).
