Ómar Örn Hauksson (b. 1975, Iceland) graduated from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts with BA in Graphic Design in 2006. He has been working as a graphic designer and journalist since. His entry into filmmaking came through his movie poster design work. He has written a short film script prior to Undying Love, called Unholy Night which was released in Iceland in 2006. He currently works as a graphic designer and also works as a correspondent for film website Twitchfilm. In addition to his own films he co-produced the U.S. feature Pig (2010) directed by Adam Mason.
