The year is 2274, civilization exists under a huge dome, and everyone is encouraged to lead a pleasure-filled lifestyle. There's just one hitch: no one is allowed to live past the age of 29. This doesn't sit well with three friends, who decide to escape from their domed (and doomed) existence. (texte officiel du distributeur)

The subject is promising, but the execution sadly lags behind. It is a naive sci-fi with sets and characters that seem to have escaped from 1950s movies. This film has simply become outdated, whereas during the same time period, action movies were being made that can still be watched with a clear conscience today. I have a feeling that, in terms of the current reviews on FilmBooster, this film is highly overrated. Overall impression: 40%. ()
The world created in the film is simply interesting. The rules are clearly given, but the purpose is to break them because not everything has to be exactly as it is. This is precisely what York's character reveals, showing that every society has its flaws and it is worth making a change. Of course, in a peaceful way. ()
